For what seems like centuries, every year on February 14th dearly beloveds gather together and celebrate with chocolates, long awaited flowers, and gifts. Whether the celebration be fancy dinners or urban studio picnics, we all take a minute to remember the ones we love and shower them with those thoughts. This is what I love about Valentines day, and as I got to thinking, what came into focus were the many similarities that Valentines day has to Weddings. Some intimate gatherings, some extravagant affairs, but whatever the budget, whatever the size and wherever the place, weddings resemble the union of those dear to each other's hearts. So, why not incorporate a valentines theme to a February wedding soiree-- after all, a blessing from St. Valentine on your special day might be just the magic you need as you embark upon your life together!
